Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is a part of the Toronto-based Four Seasons chain of luxury hotels and resorts. It is one of the two Four Seasons Hotels in Chicago, the other, the Ritz-Carlton (Four Seasons) is located just a few blocks away. It is located in downtown Chicago, on the north end of the Magnificent Mile, overlooking Lake Michigan. The Hotel is located between the 30th and 46th floor of the 900 North Michigan shopping mall, which contains luxury stores such as Bloomingdale's, Michael Kors, and Gucci.
History
Opened in 1989, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago currently houses 345 guest rooms, offering views of Lake Michigan or the Chicago Skyline from the 32nd to 46th floors of the tower.
900 North Michigan is part of Chicago's Magnificent Mile, known for its architectural landmarks such as the John Hancock Center, seasonal events such as Light Nights in winter and area cultural and entertainment attractions.
Four Seasons Hotel Chicago will soon undergo its first renovation. The renovation will provide a French Art Deco design to the structure, patterned after a 1930s style.
