Hotel Ottumwa, now known as the Parkview Plaza, is an historic structure located in downtown Ottumwa, Iowa, United States. It was designed by the Des Moines architectural firm of Proudfoot, Bird and Rawson. The six-story brick structure rises 71.5 feet (22Â m) above the ground. The hotel, which was completed in 1916, was built by a group of Ottumwa businessmen who believed the city needed a luxury-class hotel. The exterior of the building is covered in dark brown brick and features classical details in terra cotta. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
